Electronics Recycling Day Volunteers are needed! Please use the Sign-Up Genius link here. Some tasks, like unloading textiles and directing traffic, are suitable for students in grades 5 and above to help with. SCRAP METAL, ELECTRONICS AND TEXTILE/CLOTHING RECYCLING FUNDRAISER

Saturday, October 21 from 10am to 1pm Sherwood Middle School Parking Lot 45 Oak Street, Shrewsbury Cash Only Please.  You get to clean out your closets and garage; Middle Schools PTO raises funds to pay for many events and school enrichment and classroom supplies; you keep tons of items from being added to the waste stream.

$30 – $40 PER CAR LOAD OR LOW SINGLE ITEM FEES. COMPUTER MONITORS, WOOD AUDIO SPEAKER AND CHILD CAR SEATS $20 EACH, TELEVISIONS ANY SIZE $35 EACH, – SEPARATE FROM CAR LOAD FEE.

FREE: Drop off used adult and kids’ clothing (dry, clean and not smelly), shoes and boots (tied together is best) belts, purses, backpacks, blankets, towels, and sheets. It is ok if the items are worn out, have rips, stains or missing buttons, the good, the bag and the ugly are accepted! The vast majority of the items will be reworn by people and the rest recycled into insulation and rags.
